Betty

This page is in memory of my mother Betty.. 
Mum passed away 8-4-2001 .... after a battle with cancer and emphysema . Mum was a beautiful person.. the best mother a girl could want ..the greatest Nanna any child would be lucky enough to have  ..  the most wonderful and understanding best friend I could ever  have had. The day Mum left us  was the hardest day in our lives yet we knew it was a day of less pain for Mum.. she had been in pain for so long... and now she is free. She is missed by so many people here ... not only her family but everyone that knew her .. Anyone that came in contact with my mother always felt friendship .. Mum was the most understanding person I knew .. she always knew when something was wrong with me .. she never once made me feel small or silly when I would go to her for anything .. and I always came away  feeling that I now knew what I should do about whatever situation ... She always knew how to calm my fears ..to bring me to a stage where I believed I could do anything .... That  was the sort of person Mum was .. she made you believe in yourself....

Mum has 4 children ...Lorraine Raymond Leanne Annette... and 9 grandchildren... Tricia-Anne ... Bianca ..Rhianna .. Nathan.. Catherine ... David .. Sharntay ..Timothy.. Nicolas.. 1 great grandchild ... Teneisha. 
Mum  never got to meet her great granddaughter... Teneisha .. who was born on 18-2-2002.. But i am sure that she is smiling down on her and looking out for her as she is for all her children and grandchildren and family. Our tower of strength might not be of this earth any more but she will always be in our hearts and our minds.
We love you Mum now and forever.
